Aka Fusen makes both ends translucent and red, and the importance of the page can be determined simply by sticking one sticky note in the opposite direction. ページからはみ出し、乱れているカラフルな付箋を見た経験は恐らく誰にでもあるだろう。より効率的に学ぶための付箋が、時に過剰なビジュアル情報になってしまう。赤フセンは両端を半透明と赤色にし、一つの付箋を逆方向にして貼るだけで、ページの重要さが判別できるようになっている。また、半透明の一端には横線を施し、付箋のはみ出す長さでさらに次の重要度を決めることができる。これで同じ付箋を用いながら、大事な内容を三つのレベルに分類することが可能となる。
コンテンツの要素が複雑なページや本に記入したくない場合、一枚は通常の付箋として、もう一枚はページ内の重要箇所を示す付箋として使用できる。
